India, April 15 -- Ending speculations, which involved leaders and their caste equations in Bihar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary was finally elected as the BJP legislative party leader in the State at the NDA meeting in Patna on Tuesday, paving the way for him to take oath as the next chief minister of the State. Choudhary's served in the RJD and the JD(U) for around 12 years before he joined the BJP in 2017.
"For me, this is not merely a position, but an opportunity to serve the people of Bihar and to fulfil their trust and aspirations. I resolve to live up to the expectations of every citizen with complete dedication, commitment, and integrity," Choudhary posted on social media.
