India, March 15 -- Over 4,000 people, mostly Chinese, enjoyed a variety of cultural performances and traditional cuisine at this year's Vasant Mela organised by the Indian Embassy on Saturday.

The annual event titled 'One Civilisation, Countless Expressions,' at the sprawling premises of the old Indian Embassy is increasingly becoming a big draw among Chinese, with more people along with their families joining the spring festival to experience Indian culture, officials said. Members of the Indian diaspora, along with Chinese artists learning India's art forms at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre of the embassy, staged a variety of music and dance performances regaling the audience.
