India, July 19 -- Chhattisgarh has secured the top rank in the Regulatory Ease and Institutional Environment pillars of the CRISIL-NITI Aayog Investment Friendliness Index, highlighting the state's progress in creating a business-friendly regulatory ecosystem, the state government said on Sunday.

According to the government, the achievement reflects reforms undertaken to simplify governance, improve policy implementation and strengthen institutional mechanisms aimed at attracting investments. The rankings recognise states that have made significant progress in facilitating business operations and ensuring an efficient regulatory framework.
