India, Oct. 23 -- Chhath Puja will be held at 1,500 ghats, including the banks of Yamuna River, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said on Wednesday adding "what was what was promised regarding Chhath Puja has been fulfilled."

Stating this, he said Rekha Gupta Government has delivered on another BJP election commitment regarding Chhath Puja and informed there will be 23 large natural ghats on the Yamuna banks, while approximately 1,300 artificial ghats are being developed. Additionally, about 200 more locations have been identified for artificial ghats based on public demand.
