India, May 16 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued an official clarification regarding the controversy surrounding the Class 12 Result 2026 and concerns raised over the On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation system.

The clarification comes after several students, parents and teachers questioned the marking process on social media, alleging unexpectedly low scores in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Some students also claimed they had qualified competitive examinations like JEE but failed in the CBSE board exams.
