India, May 2 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested the Additional Director of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and her private assistant in connection with a bribery case. The arrests were made following a meticulously planned anti-corruption operation by the CBI team.

According to an official statement issued by the probe agency, the CBI has registered a case on Friday (April 30, 2026) against the Private Assistant to the Additional Director posted at Swasthya Bhawan, CGHS, Suraj Kund Road, Meerut.
