India, Aug. 14 -- The CBI has arrested five officials of the North Western Railway (NWR) from Rajasthan's Jaipur and Bikaner in separate cases of bribery and recovered Rs 2 lakh from them, an official spokesperson said on Friday.

The arrests were made on Thursday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) spokesperson said in a statement.

The agency alleged that the office superintendent at NWR, Jaipur, was allegedly indulging in corrupt practices, accepting bribes for processing and passing of bills for the work being executed by a Navi Mumbai-based company.
