India, March 29 -- Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra on Saturday said the national Capital is steadily emerging as a creative and media hub as he visited the International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) at Bharat Mandapam and reviewed a major exhibition tracing the journey of Indian cinema.

The Minister said the festival has attracted participation from filmmakers, artists, and young talent from across the country, positioning Delhi as a growing centre for cinema, culture, and media engagement.

During his visit, Mishra explored an exhibition that presents the evolution of Indian cinema from its early years to the present day. The exhibition also highlights the global reach of Indian films and their role as a cultural soft power.
