India, Sept. 25 -- Giving a boost to infrastructure projects in poll bound Bihar, the Union Cabinet on Wednesday cleared several rail and road projects worth a combined '6,014 crore which include Bakhtiyarpur-Rajgir-Tilaiya single railway line section and construction of the four-lane Sahebganj-Areraj-Bettiah section.

Earlier this month, the Cabinet had sanctioned the construction of the Mokama-Munger section of the Buxar-Bhagalpur high-speed corridor and approved the doubling of the Bhagalpur-Dumka-Rampurhat rail line, aimed at strengthening connectivity across Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
