India, Sept. 10 -- The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Thursday submitted a breach of privilege notice against Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, alleging that he made false and misleading allegations against BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao in the Assembly.

BRS MLAs G Mahipal Reddy and B Laxma Reddy handed over the notice, addressed to the Speaker, to Assembly Secretary R Tirupati, according to a party press release.

The BRS said Revanth Reddy, during his Assembly speech on September 9, cited a social media post claiming that a purification programme was conducted near Chandrasekhar Rao's farmhouse after Congress workers and Dalit activists held a protest there on the BRS president's orders.
