India, July 12 -- The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has restored road connectivity on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra route in Uttarakhand after a landslide blocked the strategic road on July 10. BRO's Project Hirak teams worked continuously to clear debris and reopen the route, ensuring the safe movement of pilgrims and essential traffic through the high-altitude region.

According to the BRO, the landslide had temporarily disrupted the pilgrimage, but swift restoration efforts helped minimise delays. The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining critical border infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted connectivity, especially on routes of strategic and religious importance.
