India, June 12 -- A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight from Lucknow was delayed on Friday after a bomb threat triggered a major security alert just before takeoff. The aircraft, carrying around 180 passengers, was scheduled to depart at 10:45 am but was halted for safety checks after a suspicious message was discovered onboard.

According to officials, the scare began when a tissue paper bearing the word "bomb" was found inside one of the aircraft's lavatories. Following the alert, security agencies immediately launched a comprehensive inspection of the aircraft and surrounding areas, while the flight was kept at the apron and prevented from taking off.
