India, June 2 -- Party reviews organisational preparedness ahead of UP Assembly election scheduled for next year

BJP national president Nitin Nabin held a review meeting on Monday with senior BJP leaders, addressing organisational readiness and pending party appointments at both national and State levels. The meeting also focused on plans to mark 12 years of the NDA Government. There is speculation of a Cabinet reshuffle, as well as an organisational overhaul under Nabin's presidency sometime in June.

This comes a day after the BJP's top leadership held a meeting at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence. Deliberations were also held regarding Rajya Sabha nominations, Cabinet reshuffle.
