India, May 3 -- BJP MLA from Jewar Dhirendra Singh has urged the Uttar Pradesh chief minister to address critical shortcomings in fire safety infrastructure in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Ghaziabad, citing recent fire incidents and the high concentration of high-rise residential and commercial buildings in the two districts.
During a meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his residence in Lucknow on Friday, Singh submitted a memorandum seeking immediate and long-term measures to strengthen fire safety systems in high-rise areas, particularly in Greater Noida West and Ghaziabad.
