India, Nov. 17 -- The NDA's stupendous victory in the Bihar assembly polls will help the BJP and JDU to win all 10 Rajya Sabha seats in the upcoming biennial elections in the State in the next year's upper house vacancies while the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) will be decimated in the house of elders.

The NDA has 133 seats in the 245 MP-strong Rajya Sabha, 28 less than the two-thirds target. The term of five seats will be over next year, while another set of five seats will face biennial polls in 2028. The current term of the Narendra Modi Government will end in May 2029.

The RJD currently has a total five seats in the Rajya Sabha and the Congress has one seat, out of a total of 16 Rajya Sabha seats from Bihar. With the next round of Rajya ...
