India, July 18 -- Business inquiries to the tune of $2.8 billion, along with textile investment commitments from various States worth Rs 14,300 crore, were generated during the first three days of the global textile event Bharat Tex 2026.

The four-day Bharat Tex 2026, which concluded on July 17, brought together 1,647 exhibitors, nearly 95,000 business visitors, 11,315 buyers, including 6,090 international buyers, 3,461 delegates and participants from 138 countries, according to the Textile Ministry.
