India, April 28 -- Around 50 women had a narrow escape after a fire broke out at a paying guest (PG) accommodation in Nandini Layout, forcing residents to jump from the building to save themselves. Fortunately, no deaths or serious injuries were reported.

According to officials, the blaze quickly engulfed the building, triggering panic among the occupants. Residents acted swiftly and evacuated the premises, preventing what could have turned into a major tragedy.

Fire and emergency services rushed to the spot after receiving an alert and managed to bring the situation under control. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and how it spread so rapidly through the structure.
