India, May 5 -- Six individuals have been arrested in Bengaluru for their alleged involvement in the illegal purchase and distribution of narcotic substances, including MDMA and hydro ganja, police said on Tuesday.
According to officials, the accused were sourcing banned drugs at lower prices and selling them for profit, with college students among their primary customers.
During the operation, police seized 8 kg 58 g of MDMA and 5 kg 700 g of hydro ganja, along with four mobile phones and a car used in the alleged crime. The total value of the seized items is estimated at Rs.10.05 crore, while the market value is pegged at approximately Rs.20.10 crore.
