India, Oct. 11 -- A new war of words has ensued between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) with the former launching a blistering attack on Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for saying that the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the saffron party were playing with fire by forcing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) on the State.

Banerjee has warned that SIR could trigger riots if names of genuine voters are deleted from voters' lists.
