India, July 8 -- The primary suspect in the alleged sexual assault and killing of an 11-year-old girl in West Bengal's Baruipur died during a police operation while officers were recreating the sequence of events as part of the investigation. According to police, the suspect allegedly attempted to flee custody after trying to seize an officer's service weapon.
