India, July 2 -- The investigation into the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple has revealed a detailed modus operandi allegedly used by the accused to steal devotees' contributions. According to police, arrested accused Avinash Shukla disclosed during questioning that stolen cash was hidden inside washrooms within the temple complex before being smuggled out in small amounts to avoid raising suspicion.

Investigators said the accused allegedly took advantage of CCTV blind spots while handling donations collected from the temple's counting room.
