India, May 5 -- The Assembly Election Results 2026 have triggered political tensions in West Bengal, with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) alleging post-poll violence and vandalism of party offices across several districts. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), however, has denied any involvement in the incidents.

Reports of arson and damage to TMC offices emerged from multiple locations, including Tollygunge, Baruipur, Kamarhati, Baranagar, Baharampur, Howrah, and Kasba. Police have launched investigations into the incidents as political blame games intensify in the aftermath of the results.
