India, May 20 -- Assam Crime Branch has summoned Congress leader Randeep Surjewala in the case filed by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sharma. It is learned that Pawan Khera has confessed to the police that the fake passport documents were given to him by Surjewala. Sources from the police said that Gaurav Gogoi gave the fake documents to Surjewala, and after interrogating Surjewala, Gogoi will be summoned.

The Crime Branch has directed Surjewala to appear before investigators in Guwahati on May 23.
