Assam Governor pays tribute to martyrs at Amar Shaheed Shradhanjali Programme in Guwahati
India, June 9 -- Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya on Sunday attended the "Amar Shaheed Shradhanjali" programme organised by the Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Assam, at the Assam State War Memorial in Dighalipukhuri and Don Bosco High School in Panbazar, Guwahati, to honour soldiers from the state who laid down their lives in service of the nation.
