India, March 29 -- Assam R&V Sqn NCC, under the aegis of NCC Group Headquarters, Guwahati, NER Directorate, successfully conducted Ashwa Sparsh, a unique initiative aimed at empowering specially-abled children through interaction with horses at the Veterinary Field, Khanapara.

The programme brought together specially-abled children from Asha School, Narangi Military Station, providing them an opportunity to experience the therapeutic and emotional benefits of equine interaction in a safe and encouraging environment.

Meaning "the healing touch of horses," Ashwa Sparsh is designed to promote confidence, emotional well-being, sensory development and social inclusion among children with special needs.
