India, July 3 -- Four men, including an armed forces jawan on leave, have been arrested for allegedly attacking police officers during an anti-drug enforcement drive under Operation Toofan in Kerala's Palakkad district. The incident took place during a late-night vehicle inspection at Pazhampully, where police stopped a car for routine checks.

According to police, the occupants of the vehicle were heavily intoxicated. One of the accused, identified as Jinesh, allegedly became aggressive during the inspection and assaulted police personnel, including the sub-inspector. When other officers tried to intervene, they too were reportedly attacked.
