India, July 4 -- A school warden in Andhra Pradesh's Parvathipuram Manyam district has earned widespread praise after carrying an ill student on her back for nearly 6 kilometres through hilly forest terrain to ensure she received timely medical treatment. The warden, Kumburka Hemani, took the extraordinary step after finding that there was no road access or transport available to reach the remote tribal village where the student had fallen seriously ill with a high fever.
