India, Aug. 2 -- Andhra Pradesh has received an additional Rs 4,597 crore as its share of central taxes, with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday, August 1st, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the allocation.

The additional amount was released along with the regular monthly tax devolution to states, Naidu said.

He said the funds would help accelerate development programmes and provide further momentum to the state's growth initiatives.
