India, June 16 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday requested Singapore PM Lawrence Wong to extend cooperation in technology, semiconductors, quantum computing, AI and university research.

Naidu is on a two-day visit to Singapore to attract investments and review key collaborations related to Amaravati and other projects. "CM Chandrababu met with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. The CM requested cooperation in technology, semiconductors, quantum computing, AI and university research," a press release said.

During the 30-minute meeting, Naidu sought Singapore's assistance in establishing a semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem and building capacity in the sector.
