India, Oct. 14 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday described the implementation of the three new criminal laws as a historic reform and the biggest overhaul of India's criminal justice system in the 21st century. He also said more than 50 per cent of charge sheets are now being filed on time in the country.

Speaking at a function here, Shah said that after the implementation of the new criminal laws, the conviction rate in Rajasthan has increased from 42 per cent to 60 per cent.
