All 36 States and UTs adopt KPI framework for health programmes
India, July 18 -- All 36 States and Union Territories have unanimously adopted a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework to strengthen the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of key public health programmes, the Union Health Ministry said on Friday. The Centre and States have agreed to hold monthly reviews to track progress against the defined KPIs and address gaps, it said.
The decision was taken at the conclusion of a two-day National Review Meeting on Disease Surveillance and Public Health Programmes organised by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare here.
