Airtel provides mobile connectivity in remote Army locations in Arunachal
India, June 18 -- Leading telecom operator Bharti Airtel on Wednesday said it has set up infrastructure across 30 Indian Army stations in difficult terrain in Arunachal Pradesh to make available uninterrupted connectivity.
The Indian Army had joined hands with Airtel for last-mile connectivity in border and difficult-to-reach locations of the Himalayan state, the company said in a statement. "As part of the initiative, Airtel deployed network infrastructure across 30 Army stations located in challenging mountainous terrain," it added.
