India, June 12 -- A year has passed since the tragic crash of Air India Flight AI-171 near Ahmedabad, but the pain of the disaster continues to haunt the families of victims and survivors. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, operating from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, crashed shortly after takeoff on June 12, 2025, claiming 260 lives, including 241 passengers and crew members and 19 people on the ground. Only one passenger survived the devastating accident.
