India, April 28 -- AIADMK leader IS Inbadurai on Monday alleged that the ruling DMK was involved in "electoral malpractices" in several constituencies during the Assembly polls held on April 23 and urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to take action.

Alleging that the DMK has "distributed money to bribe the voters," the AIADMK leader, who is also a Rajya Sabha MP, claimed that in Coimbatore and Karur, "several malpractices" were done by the DMK.

"In Coimbatore South constituency, DMK candidate had distributed gold coins to the voters", he alleged.
