India, Oct. 22 -- Adani Green Energy on Wednesday reported a 16 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ' 747 crore in the September quarter, boosted by strong revenue growth in the power supply business.

The Adani Group firm, which produces power through sources such as solar, wind and hybrid modes, had posted a net profit of '644 crore in the second quarter of the preceding financial year.

In an exchange filing, Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) said that its total income rose by 39 per cent to '4,520 crore during July-September, compared to '3,249 crore in the same period a year ago.

The share of power supply business in the total income stood at '4,019 crore, up 45 per cent compared to '2,776 crore in Q2 FY26.
