India, July 13 -- Indian golfer Aditi Ashok carded a 2-under 69 to make a marginal improvement over her first two rounds and move into a tie for 33rd place with one round remaining at the $9.1 million Evian Championship here.

Aditi, who shot identical 70s in the opening two rounds on the par-71 course, is competing in her 38th Major.

The talking point of the day was South Korea's Haeran Ryu, who produced a stunning performance in the third round, firing a course-record 60 (11-under) to storm into a three-shot lead at the 54-hole stage.
