India, Aug. 18 -- Delhi is set to introduce two air-conditioned electric buses for tourism, with the vehicles planned to connect four curated circuits covering 21 heritage, spiritual and cultural sites across the capital, according to documents issued by the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation Limited (DTTDC).

The DTTDC has invited bids for supplying two nine-metre air-conditioned electric buses for tourism purposes, according to the tender document.

The estimated cost of the procurement is Rs 2.10 crore and the buses will be added to DTTDC's existing tourism fleet, which operates guided tours, hop-on-hop-off services, heritage circuits and shuttle services connecting key tourism destinations, it said.
