India, Sept. 15 -- The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad's (ABVP) candidate Aryan Mann has gained significant momentum in the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections, with strong backing from khaps, political leaders, and student groups.
Mann, a Master's student in Library Science at Delhi University, has been fielded by ABVP for the post of president. Known for raising student-centric issues, he has promised initiatives ranging from subsidised metro passes and large-scale placement fairs to mental health counsellors in every college, increased scholarships, and improved support systems for students.
