India, Oct. 14 -- Confusion prevails over this year's Diwali celebrations as the Amavasya Tithi falls over two days, starting on October 20 and ending on October 21, 2025.
According to Kashi Vidwat Parishad, the festival of lights, will be celebrated on October 20 (Monday), resolving confusion caused by a rare lunar alignment. Acharya Durgesh Tare, a renowned astrologer from the holy city of Ujjain and Convener of the Veda and Jyotish concluded that, "This year, celebrating Diwali on October 20, 2025, is fully in accordance with the scriptures."
