India, June 23 -- The Gujarat Government has announced a package of recruitment benefits for former Agniveers, including 20 per cent reservation in direct recruitment to Class III posts across several State departments.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved the policy to facilitate the transition of ex-Agniveers into Government service after completing their military tenure. Along with the reservation, eligible candidates will receive an exemption from the prescribed physical efficiency test for the notified recruitments.
