2 Killed, 27 injured as Double-Decker bus crashes into stationary truck in UP's Etawah
India, July 8 -- Two people were killed and 27 others injured after a private double-decker bus travelling from Varanasi to Delhi rammed into a stationary truck on the Kanpur-Etawah-Agra highway in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah district on Wednesday, police said.
The accident took place near the ITI overbridge under the Civil Lines police station limits. According to Circle Officer (City) Abhay Narayan Rai, the truck had been parked on the roadside following an earlier accident when the speeding bus crashed into it.
