India, July 25 -- The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Saturday announced the withdrawal of its 36-day agitation, a massive win for the student-led movement centred around the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan who stepped down from his office hours earlier.

The government also agreed to the CJP's two other demands -- Rs 1 crore to the families of all students who died by suicide and no action against any of the student protesters.
