Manila, April 10 -- Tropical Storm Sinlaku is forecast to either enter or pass near the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) next week, but cloudy skies will continue to persist, the weather bureau said on Friday.
Sinlaku, last spotted 2,730 km. east of northeastern Mindanao as of 2 p.m., is almost stationary. If it enters PAR, it will be given the local name Caloy.
"It is not expected to bring significant impacts on the country's weather conditions," the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies will prevail over most parts of the country throughout the weekend.
