T-bill rates posts mixed results
Manila, July 21 -- Rates of the Philippines' treasury bills (T-bills) posted mixed movements Monday, which an economist traced to demand for the debt paper.
Average rate of the 91-day paper rose to 5.104 percent from 5.097 percent during the auction last July 13.
Rate of the six-month paper, meanwhile, went down to 5,685 percent from 5,707 percent; and the one-year paper declined to 5,966 percent from 5.972 percent.
BTr offered the three-month paper for PHP20 billion and made a full award amidst the PHP54.67 billion worth of tenders.
The six-month paper was offered for PHP20 billion and also fully awarded after bids reached PHP56.33 billion.
The 365-day paper was fully awarded for PHP10 billion, amidst the PHP27.41 billion offer.
