Manila, April 9 -- Authorities seized suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP3.4 million and arrested a 40-year-old tricycle driver in an anti-drug operation in Taguig City on April 6.
In a report Thursday, Taguig City Police Station chief Col. Julius Aonuevo said the suspect, who is from Maharlika Village, was arrested in a sting operation along Mindanao Avenue by operatives of the Taguig Police Substation 7 and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Southern District Office.
Seized from the suspect were four knot-tied plastic sachets containing 500 grams of suspected shabu.
The suspect is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
