MANILA, Aug. 27 -- Majority of Filipinos trusted the results of the May 12, 2025 national and local elections, a survey firm said on Wednesday.

Based on the Q2 2025 Tugon ng Masa (TNM) Survey by OCTA Research, 8 out of 10 Filipinos or 83 percent of those who participated in the survey conducted from July 12 to 17, 2025, believed the poll results were credible.

"By contrast, only 4 percent openly distrust the outcome, while 14 percent remain undecided or ambivalent," the firm added during the presentation of the survey results at the Comelec head office in Manila.
