Manila, Sept. 25 -- Surigao del Sur Gov. Johnny Pimentel signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) Thursday with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) and the Department of Education (DepEd) to build a PHP55-million school building for Tagbina Elementary School in Tagbina town.

Pimentel was joined by PAGCOR Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alejandro Tengco and DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara during the MOA signing in Manila.

"The partnership will provide students and teachers in Tagbina with improved, safer, and more conducive facilities for teaching and learning," Pimentel said in a Friday statement.
