Laoag City, Aug. 1 -- The Social Security System (SSS) has issued show-cause orders to at least 15 employers in Ilocos Norte who have been delinquent in paying the contributions of their employees.

Richard Raralio, branch manager of SSS-Laoag City, confirmed this in a media interview Friday after they visited several establishments in the city of Batac and San Nicolas for the monthly conduct of "Run After Contribution Evaders" (RACE).

The campaign program aims to ensure that private employers fully adhere to their responsibilities under Republic Act (RA) 11199 or the Social Security Act of 2018.
