Manila, March 6 -- A lone bettor from South Cotabato became an instant multimillionaire after hitting Thursday night's PHP39-million Lotto 6/42 jackpot.

In an advisory on Friday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the winner from General Santos City, South Cotabato guessed the winning combination 33-32-18-01-10- 04.

The winner has one year to claim the PHP39,385,042.44 prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City.

Under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings worth more than PHP10,000 are subject to a 20-percent tax.
