Manila, July 16 -- The Social Housing Finance Corp. (SHFC) has approved four housing projects under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, benefiting more than 3,800 families in Bataan, Cagayan, Negros Occidental and Palawan.

Approved during the agency's credit committee meeting on Thursday, the projects include two under the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP) and two under the 4PH vertical housing program.

SHFC President and Chief Executive Officer Federico Laxa said the projects support the government's goal of expanding access to safe and affordable housing for low-income Filipino families.
